Lisa's path to accounting wasn't straight: pre-med, mathematics, oil and gas, and eventually bookkeeping, where she found the work that actually fit. She joined Factor Accounting in 2022 and built something real with her clients. Now, she's launched Seek First on her own terms.
The name "Seek First" is personal. It's a daily reminder to stay grounded, the kind of foundation she brings to every client relationship.
What sets Lisa apart isn't just the numbers. It's that she never delivers a problem without explaining the why, and she never leaves you without a next step. She asks questions before making assumptions. She teaches, not just tells.
Her favorite moments? Hearing about a client's new grandbaby, or the job they just landed. The finances matter, but the relationship is what makes the work worthwhile.
